Winter quarter blog

Although technically the deadline for the Winter quarter blospost has past I figure that since it is freezing cold and snowing that i could still squeeze it in. For my humanities event i watched The Kite Runner, a movie based on the novel by Khaled Hosseini. This was a fairly entertaining film, but i feel that the symbolic importance of the actual kite flying sequences probably carried much more significance in the novel compared to the movie. I also attended the humanities film festival which brought back old memories of the HAV. I can't believe our four years as humanities scholars is over so lets all enjoy this last quarter.
