washington d.c.

So I was on the spring trip committee and we had a lot of fun in Washington D.C. I really enjoyed our group dinner at Ben's Chili Bowl. The food was really fantastic and it was interesting to be at one of the historic sites of the city. I did a lot of shopping with Carrie and we took the subway over to Georgetown to meet some of her friends. We explored the college town areas and found a really cool authentic Spanish restaurant to have dinner at. We wanted to go to Georgetown Cupcakes, but the line was out the door so we skipped that. Seeing the monuments was fun because I haven't been to D.C. since the 8th grade trip everyone goes on. We went at night and checked out Lincoln, Washington, and WWII monuments. Overall it was a pretty awesome trip. Can't wait to start planning for NYC next year!
